Life is so short.
An ending is never appropriate, unless it's the right time. But when is it ever the right time? Yesterday, my colleagues brother died - he is...was, a teacher for our summer program. He was in his 50's....
Not thirty minutes before his death, we were laughing and joking before our weekly staff meeting. He was teasing me (as always) and everyone else about EVERYTHING...a volleyball game, food, life...his spirit has always been beautiful. He shared his crackers with me because I was so hungry...he was also going to give me his soup...a lovely man.
At 4:15, he left the meeting for home...at 5pm, he was found dead.
To those who live life in misery, or take for granted this blessed and crazy place, remember what God has given you...remember that this "trip" here on earth is a gift, it is the present.
Thank you Mr. H, you've touched my life and so many others...your spirit lives on forever.
Myself, and many others are lifting you and your family up to the heavens. I pray for peace...
