The power of the ponytail...

Today is so beautiful..the weather is absolutely incredible.  A perfect sunny 70 degrees with light clouds in the sky.  It's one of those days where you go outside and say "aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

AnyWHO -so, I've decided.  I prefer the way my hair looks on day two.  Right after I wash my hair, I really just don't ever think it looks right.  It is so awkard and NEVER right...Am I the only one?!  It's never full enough, and just blah.

So, what I do is I always plan to wash my hair a day or two before I want my hair to look good!  HAHAH  It takes a bit of planning, but worth it...

For all my naturalites - after you wash your hair and whether you two-strand twist, or whatever you do I would dry it with a blow-dryer (cool or warm air it doesn't matter).  If it doesn't get completely dry that's okay.  Then put your hair up in a pony tail- a light ponytail.  I use the wrist size hair holders and I don't try to double it around my hair.  I just put all my hair through once.  Then go to sleep or whatever.  For me, the ponytail stretches the curls, and does something magical to help my hair become more full and not awkwardly blah.  I use the steam from the shower to help loosen up the curls but don't get your hair wet again!

Try it...the power of the ponytail!!  If your hair is not at a length to do a ponytail, use a tighter headband and pull it back on your hair...it will stretch the curls...or braid or twist to stretch them out too...
