Hair Changes...

Like the seasons, hair changes.  I know in these crazy heat, my hair is SO dry...well, it tries to be dry!  One of my favorite products for dry hair is " Olive Oil Organic Root Stimulator.  It's Extra Rich for Dry Thristy Hair."  Now this is a cream, so it can seem kind of thick and you have to rub it in, but I LOVE IT.  I use it mostly after I wash my hair, when my hair is sopping wet.  I put a quarter size dab (this should depend on hair length and thickness).  The cream seems heavy in your hand, but in the hair it is so light.  It doesn't bog down or hinder curls.  It is one of my favorites.  The only problem is, it's 7-9 dollars for 6 ounces.  So to me, it's kind of pricey, but for hair health...it's WORTH IT! You can get this anywhere...Walgreens, Walmart etc...

Another product I like, is from Dove.  It's the Nourishing Oil Care, anti frizz serum with Argan oil blend...it is SO light, and great for everyday!  It is light and keeps the curls mostiurized and keeps frizz away.  If you like the defined look, I would try this product out.  It costs 4-6 dollars...unfortunately, they don't sell this in OHIO...if you'd like, let me know and I can bring some back!  :) You can get this anywhere...Walgreens, Walmart etc...except in Chicago.

Also, lastly...I think this is a Mixed Chicks knock off, but I love it.  It's called Mixed Silk by Silk Elements.  I found this at Sally's, I LOVE the shampoo and the Leave-in conditioning creme.  It does make your hair feel silky...I use the leave in right after I shampoo...you can use this to help comb out your hair...it helps you get through any "tight" sections...LOL.  I would advise, that too much will really tighten your curls...and make them slightly crunchy.  I had to experiment to see how much works best for my hair...and I bet you will too!  So don't give up!

Also, notice that if you find a product you love...you will probably unlove that product in the future.  Remember hair changes and needs to be renewed with new and different products.  You change too!  So keep trying new things!

I hope you go out and try a few of my favorites!
